Vinyl Heart – Variations
Re-visiting graphic works executed back in the 1990s. This particular image variation was produced from a scanned drawing taken from the Anthropo-Technikon drawing series, then reworked and modified using 2d filters and tools. The idea behind the vinyl heart theme was inspired from sci-fi narratives and the fantastic promises of eternal existence through transhumanism as peddled by technocrats and the sick views and ideologies preached […]
SOYUZ – 1: VARIATIONS ON A THEME (CONT’D) – PART 5
Continuing again on a variation on a theme for the Soyuz-1 drawing series (part 5). As I usually do, I scan and/or photograph the original drawing (dry and wet media on gloss paper), then re-worked the image in post, using a variety of 2d filters and tools. For more background information concerning the plight of Soyuz-1, please follow this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soyuz_1 Enjoy! Pierre

Memory Bulb – Hommage to Finch: Variations Part 4
Variations on a theme (part 4), but this time with an incidental drawing inspired by a painting from my Transmutation series: Memory Bulb – Hommage to Finch (triptych). ‘Finch’ is a fantastic/noir style novel written by one of my favorites, the American fantasy/weird author Jeff Vandermeer. I can’t do the novel and its author any justice by trying to describe the gist of the novel […]
